Awakening a New Yearning

Hello Disciple! How are you doing? Are you fervent for God like the summer heat? God desires for us to be on fire for Him. This fire is stirred when we wait in His presence every day. I trust you are taking time to SIT, SURRENDER, and BE TRANSFORMED daily. I love what King David says in Psalm 27:4 : “ I have asked one thing from the Lord… ”—not many things. As we read the entire verse, we discover what that ' one thing ' was. He longed for God’s presence above everything else. He desired to behold Him daily and to know Him more deeply . Dear Disciple, do we truly YEARN like that for the Lord— to be with Him , to behold Him , and to become like Him in His presence? May we ask ourselves, “What am I truly yearning for?” and answer that question honestly. Let the remainder of 2026 awaken a NEW YEARNING for HIM and HIS PRESENCE . Please share this post with others and feel free to  EMAIL  or  MESSAGE  me on WhatsApp. Shalom! (Scripture References: Psalm 27:4, Psalm 46:...

Sit, Surrender, and Be Transformed

Hey Good Morning Disciples, sons, daughters, Friends and Enemies! Trust you are visiting my blog to glean something from it every day. The purpose of reading God’s Word is for us to be transformed—not to be puffed up with theology or to prepare messages for others to hear. If you ask me, I will prefer to live out the Word and demonstrate it in my life (of course, that includes preaching and teaching when needed 😊). So, how are you today? If you are in Relationship with Jesus—spending time with Him throughout your day and immersed in His Word daily—then be assured your spiritual trajectory is toward transformation, guaranteed. Something happens to us when we sit in His presence—not as a once-in-a-while activity, but daily. In Psalm 46:10 , God says: “Surrender your anxiety to Me. Be still and realize that I am God. I am God above all the nations, and I am exalted throughout the whole earth.” My friends, do we take time every day to sit in His presence and surrender our anxious tho...

40-DAY CHALLENGE

James 5:17-18 "Elijah was a man with human frailties, just like all of us, but he prayed and received supernatural answers. Good Morning, Disciple, Here is a gentle reminder from the Word, from the book of James: the Lord is urging us to grow up and align our thinking to HIS, to expect supernatural answers to our prayers. Stop begging your Father and begin to live like His son. Like Elijah—an ordinary man like us, yet passionate and sincere in his prayers. Take up this 40-day challenge. Commit yourself to it. Write down your requests on a piece of paper and pray over them JUST ONCE on DAY 1, expecting supernatural answers. From the DAY 2 until DAY 40 THANK FATHER GOD for answering your prayers.  Also, begin to journal what you experience each day through this Prayer journey. One thing is certain: by the end of DAY 40 , your FAITH will skyrocket, you will fall in love with your FATHER's PRESENCE . Your FELLOWSHIP with HIM will move to a new level, and you will not be th...

Yield for Change

Good morning, Disciple! How marvelous to wake up to a brand-new day. Before us lies opportunities, open doors, possibilities and untapped potential to discover. Yes, today we have the opportunity to GROW and be TRANSFORMED in our minds and become a little BETTER than yesterday. We have the opportunities to REST in HIM and WALK like JESUS walked. Does not our heart long for more of this kind of LIFE? What can STOP us from living an ABUNDANT LIFE? An UNRENEWED MIND is the ROOT cause  of the kind of FRUIT we are bearing now. Romans 12:2. Is there any hope for us to CHANGE from bearing BAD FRUIT to GOOD FRUIT in our lives? YES, and a resounding YES.   Many of God's people want INSTANT TRANSFORMATION , like instant coffee. There is a FRUIT BEARING PROCESS. Like a branch that ABIDES on the Tree, we need to be rooted and committed to abide in GOD's method of TRANSFORMATION. This is the hard and committed journey we DISCIPLES have to take.  How do we actually Change f...

Supernatural Life

Greetings, Disciple! The temperatures seem to have dropped a bit after yesterday's sudden thundershowers. How cool is that—to have such weather in the middle of a hot summer? It almost looks supernatural! A disciple’s life is primarily a SUPERNATURAL LIFE ; that is the default position. Today, GOD, our Heavenly FATHER, wants to remind us to RENEW OUR MINDS to this kind of living. Do not imitate the patterns of the world, who primarily live by their physical senses—by what they feel, touch, hear and see. We walk by faith. Our Lord gives us a tip in HIS Word on how to kick-start this kind of life. How can we live a supernatural life? We cannot do it on our own, with our “great” intelligence or our own strength. However, our Lord JESUS has promised the HOLY SPIRIT to those who ask Him. This is what He said in Luke 11:13: "If imperfect parents know how to lovingly take care of their children and give them what they need, how much more will the perfect heavenly Father give the Ho...

Going Beyond Forgiveness

Hello Disciple, Good morning! Please Read Mark 2:1-12. If we have experienced the FORGIVENESS of our sins, then we have only tasted a small portion of GOD’s saving grace. We may choose to be fully satisfied with this and “stay there, rejoicing on the mat” for the rest of our lives. However, SALVATION is not limited to the FORGIVENESS of our sins only, It is only a DOORWAY to enter and enjoy our INHERITANCE in CHRIST—to “RISE and WALK HOME” so to speak. Sadly, the EKKLESIA today has largely focused only on FORGIVENESS. We have, in many ways, failed to teach and train God’s people to GET UP and GO BEYOND the DOOR—like the “religious Pharisees,” who did not partake and kept their followers in the 'dark' and restricted them with their manufactured “religious” doctrines (Matthew 23:13). Let not the limited, shallow, or narrow denominational perspectives STOP us from partaking in our full inheritance, which is available in CHRIST. If it is PROMISED in the WORD, then it belongs to ...

Become Who You Are

Hello Disciple, Good Morning! How are you keeping today? Let me say this at the start as a daily reminder: we are a special people, people of purpose, and our identity and self-worth are not derived from what we do, our failures, or what we have achieved in life. Our true identity is what God calls us. We are called His children; we are called righteous; we are forgiven; we are called saints; we are anointed; we are blessed; we are called sons of God; we are called a new creation, etc. This is our true identity in Christ. Read the Word and take a deep dive into our true identity. For too many years, we have ruminated on our failures of the past and the worries about the future and forgotten to meditate on our new identity in Christ. I know we have gone through a tough journey in life; as a result, we have built an understanding of who we are based on our experiences. Sadly, most of us are living out what we have nurtured in our minds. No matter how hard life may have been, we can star...

FREE Gift for everyone - paid by GOD

Dear Friend Good Morning! Psalm 139:2, 17 says, "You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I'm far away.  How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!" Do you KNOW how PRECIOUS are GOD's thoughts towards you? Many in this world LIVE their lives daily in horror of the day when God will JUDGE them for how they LIVED on the earth. Others live in GUILT, SHAME, and CONDEMNATION in the present. They fear that GOD cannot LOVE them and HE would definitely cast them into hell for their many sins and crimes they have committed.  Some HATE anything to do with GOD, they harden themselves and deny HIS existence, that's their best 'escape' route they could makeup to hide from the REALITY of a CREATOR. Wherever you are in this SPECTRUM of THINKING, it says in the above scriptures, that GOD's THOUGHTS are precious towards you, HE LOVES you deeply and came down in the FLESH to PAY the PRICE for your FORGIVENESS. T...

Conquer Anger at Its Root

Image
Good morning Disciple! How has your day started? Don't tell me that your 'Anger' has gotten the better of you right at the start of the day. Anger is big issue that most of us struggle with. I had. For some reason, I thought this topic could be relevant to many of us, especially to those for whom it has become their second nature. Is there a good anger and a bad anger? We shall look at the above question in a later post. But for now, we will try to understand the process and production of this negative emotion . Simple—it all originates with a THOUGHT in our MIND. When a THOUGHT of Anger is repeatedly entertained, it dispatches neurons into our brain. The brain is the automation center of the Body.  The brain looks at these thoughts and says, “Okay, we have received a lot of consignment of 'ANGER THOUGHTS'; let me do the needful to activate the appropriate chemicals.” You see, our brain is designed to automate and accelerate processes. It works on what we provide it...

Gooood Morning, dear Disciple! Ah! Isn’t it a bright, warm, and sunny morning today? Let us praise the Lord for giving us a NEW DAY! I just THOUGHT of reminding us of this very POWERFUL scripture in the book of Psalms. It says in Psalm 103:9, “You don’t look at us only to find our faults, just so that You can hold a grudge against us.” Our God does not LOOK AT US TO FIND OUR FAULTS OR HOLD A GRUDGE AGAINST US. Oh, but how many times in a day do we look at others to find their faults, and hold grudges and unforgiveness, especially toward those who have failed us, hurt us, or don’t like us? These THOUGHTS become HARD-WIRED inside our MIND over time. A PATTERN gets created in our BRAIN by REPEATED THINKING, and the whole episode inside us becomes AUTOMATED. That means it becomes a HABIT of HATRED, ANGER, BITTERNESS, and UNFORGIVENESS towards others. The next time we see those people, all these negative emotions of anger and bitterness comes rushing through us like a ‘dragon’. An...

Discipleship is Supernatural

Image
Good Morning Disciple! Someone sent me a TEXT message this morning asking, why do we have to RENEW our minds? Is it not our effort to change, when we are already SAVED by HIS Grace? That's a genuine question of a person who LOVES the LORD and DESIRE to grow and be fruitful. Anyway I responded to him the way best he could understand. However why do we have to RENEW our MIND? is it not sufficient that we have experienced NEW BIRTH and come into God's family?  Yes that's the most important FIRST STEP to be BORN-AGAIN by the HOLY SPIRIT. However we need to understand that we were created spirit - soul - body. So our SPIRIT gets saved first, however our SOUL and BODY remains the same untouched by our NEW-BIRTH experience. What happened at this FIRST STEP, is that our spirit was made ALIVE, we were BORN of GOD. We became brand NEW SPECIES. We entered a NEW FAMILY, now we have come in GOD's household. GOD is our FATHER. All these happened when we placed our TRUST in CHRIST JES...

Break Free from the 'Treadmill-Life'

Image
Hello dear Friend, I am excited today because I am getting better every day and able to connect with you. I am very proud of you-because I see in you a PERSON who wants to GET BETTER than yesterday :). And that's why you visit this blog to extract something that can help you. It's really a blessing and joy to experience TRANSFORMATION. Yesterday at a prayer gathering, we reflected on Jabez from 1 Chronicles 4. Though only two verses are written about him, they reveal a powerful turnaround principle in his life. Don’t we all long and love for such a turnaround too?   Many of us feel stuck, moving but going nowhere, like LIVING LIFE ON A TREADMILL . I know that feeling; I was stuck for many years not knowing how to GET OUT of the mess. But no matter what caused it, there is a way-out dear Friend. God's grace helped me to DISCOVER it, and you can too. Jabez discovered a simple principle that changed everything in his life—something many might overlook and even dismiss it as to...

Satisfied only with YOU

Image
Psalm 42:1-2 "I long to drink of you, O God, to drink deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! My soul thirsts, pants, and longs for the living God. I want to come and see the face of God. In the Book of John 4 we read the incident about the Samaritan woman who encountered Jesus at the well. In the course of the conversation our Lord revealed her TRUE THIRST despite her background, the THIRST of every PERSON to encounter the CREATOR and KNOW HIM. The story ends so beautifully, the woman finally sees JESUS for who HE REALLY is, the REAL LIFE GIVER, and leads her whole village to HIM.  Dear Reader, like the woman at the well who had a conversation with the CREATOR, you too now, wherever you are, can have a similar CONVERSATION with HIM. The above verse puts its so beautifully. Actually we have been created for GOD's PLEASURE, and enjoy the PLEASURE of KNOWING Him Intimately and enjoying HIM. Only this can satisfy ...

Soul Sleep Examined

Hello Disciples! Good Morning. I was having a conversation with a friend this morning, and we gradually meandered into theology. The subject of soul sleep came up in our discussion. He seemed to believe in this view very strongly. The internet is buzzing now with this new teaching. Did you hear about it? In short, they hold to the view that the soul is unconscious after death until resurrection. Apparently, this theology came from a denomination that has strong views regarding the soul of a person losing consciousness after death. However, does it withstand the test of the Scriptures? We need to examine it thoroughly and not cherry-pick verses to suit our preconceived line of thinking. Sadly, this theology is built on the Lazarus story in John 11, where our Lord said that Lazarus is sleeping and that He is going to wake him up. This was metaphorical language that Jesus used. Our soul does not go to sleep or lose consciousness after death. It either goes into the presence of God or Hade...

Just Step-Out of your Stagnancy

Image
Hello Friend, What a glorious day this is! Looking outside my deskside window, I can see these beautiful trees looking fresh and green, and blooming with flowers. This is a good example of the HOPE we can have as a Child of God, to CHANGE. Our 'wilderness' is not permanent—it can CHANGE, to BLOOM and FLOURISH again! What are you seeing through your 'window'? Did you appreciate the blessing and the beauty of a new day and the new opportunities to become BETTER today than yesterday? This picture that you see is my dog hesitating to STEP OUT of our front door threshold. She was always used to playing with her ROPE-TOY inside the house; you can say she was HARD-WIRED that way. However, I wanted to break that LIMITATION and STAGNANCY and wanted her to STEP OUT of her COMFORT ZONE. So I began  encouraging her gently to STEP OUT and play in the corridor. Though initially she was fearful and hesitant, she later took the COURAGE to take the 'GIANT LEAP' onto the corridor....

Becoming Unoffendable

Hey, Good Morning, and Good Evening! Trust all is well with your soul. Yesterday was a tough day for me, and I was quoting this to my colleague: “Life is tough, but only the ‘tough’ can live and overcome the ‘tough life’ 😊.” We have hope, beloved people, no matter how many failures or difficulties may come our way—we can overcome and become spiritually TOUGH. As they say, "A Tough nut to crack". Recently, I had noticed that my reactions to a certain situation were one of ANGER, it did not display Christlikeness. However, I was quick to change my THINKING on time and the matter subsided.  The emotion of ‘anger’ is produced from our negative THOUGHTS primarily that have quietly WIRED itself in our brain. When we entertain prolonged THOUGHTS of anger and bitterness against others or a situation, the pattern gets solidified, which results in our acting out in ANGER without RESISTANCE.   This is the truth; normally there is no demon sitting inside our head, although negative ...

Identifying our TRUE IDENTITY

Hey Friend, Good to be back on this wonderful Wednesday!  Not sure how the day started for you, but it was pretty rough for me talking to some product suppliers on the call. However it ended pretty well. Thanks be to God! How about you? How did your day begin? Leave some comments to share your successes or failures. I am really very proud of you for taking the time to go through this blog. You are a person who wants to GROW and BECOME BETTER each passing day. That's you! Thank you. Yesterday we were discussing about GRATITUDE, in other words being a THANKFUL person. Where you able to thank the CREATOR for giving you the breath of LIFE , and also to the people who HELPED YOU in the times of your distress? If you missed it, no worries, TODAY YOU CAN reach out to them in some way. Ok, today I want to go a little deeper. Yesterday we discussed about forming HABITS that will HELP us and not HURT us. You can read   Gratitude Changes Everything  and get familiar with...

Gratitude Changes Everything

Hello Friend, Are you there? I was just wondering if you’ve had a chance to go through my blogs. If we have woken up this morning and are able to move our hands and feet, it means we are alive—and that alone is a great blessing. Many did not wake up to see today, which means their opportunities to change, and grow have come to an end. Let us be grateful to our Creator, if we believe in Him. What I’ve noticed is that many of us fail to appreciate the little things in life. As a result, we develop an attitude of ingratitude . According to studies, ingratitude can stimulate the brain to produce harmful chemicals that negatively affect our physiological systems. When we are INTENTIONAL to be THANKFUL in all circumstances, our Mind begins to stream signals to our BRAIN with INSTRUCTIONS to create NEW PATTERNS, PATHWAYS and a new HABIT of being THANKFUL. Our new HABIT enriches us personally and others in the circle of our influence. How Wonderfully we have been created! We have great HOP...

HE is Risen - HE is Near

Hello Friend! How are you today? I trust you are doing well. Yet, some of us are facing unique storms —battles that have beaten hard against our lives. Sadly, we may feel like we have crumbled and are now crawling in despair. Sadness and hopelessness grip our hearts, and each day feels like a repeat of the last—like a shadow that follows us wherever we go. We feel stuck , unable to see light at the end of the tunnel. Some of us try to fill the vacuum in our hearts with “stuff” that only numbs the pain , but never truly heals the deeper issues within. On the outside, we put on a bright smile, but inside, we are wearing garments of heaviness, hopelessness, and emptiness . Perhaps you woke up this morning expecting things to change for the better—only to realize that nothing has changed except the date on the calendar.  Are you that person? Then I want you to know this: there is HOPE, LIGHT, and LIFE for those who feel like they are sitting in darkness. No matter what your be...

Living the Resurrection

Hello Risen Ones! This morning, I want to come straight to the point without much delay 😊 Let’s reflect briefly on the Resurrection of Christ Jesus . The resurrection was not merely an event where Jesus rose from the dead on the third day and appeared to His disciples before ascending to the Father. It is a present and living reality —that JESUS is ALIVE and WITH us now . This truth is more powerful than anything the world can produce! The same Jesus who ascended has now come to dwell within us in the Person of the Holy Spirit. His people were radically transformed , filled with resurrection power, and they went about doing the works of Jesus—being a blessing to many. The Book of Acts clearly shows the works of the Risen Christ continuing through His disciples. So what does the Resurrection of Christ mean for you and me today as His disciples? It means His resurrected Spirit now dwells in us . It means we are called to be bold witnesses for Him. It means we are focused on our ...

Be anxious for nothing - FCRA or No FCRA

Hello Friend, Good Morning! How are you today? Have you been following the news? There is a lot of discussion among NGOs, many of whom seem anxious about what may be coming their way. Recently, I came across several news reports about the FCRA amendment bill, which has raised concern among many Christian NGOs. Some view it as a harsh or restrictive measure and feel targeted. At the same time, there could be valid reasons for the government to introduce such legislation. Can we deny that a small percentage of NGOs have failed to maintain financial integrity in running their institutions? In such cases, the violators should be held accountable and their licenses revoked. As the Bible says, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Some unscrupulous NGOs have brought disgrace to the name of Christ. As Christians, we are called to a higher standard of living, and in this context, running our institutions above reproach is non-negotiable. However, with regard to propagating one’s faith, the...

Look Back and Look Forward

What is the Significance of Good Friday? Yes, we know that our LORD JESUS CHRIST paid the debt of sin for all humanity on the cross. His blood was the perfect payment that fully satisfied God. Through Him, we are not only forgiven and reconciled to God, but we are also brought into His family to enjoy an eternal relationship with Him. What a glorious hope we have—that we are called not only to belong to Him, but also to rule and reign in His Kingdom here on earth, beginning now. We are called to be a blessing through the power of His Spirit. We are invited to imitate Him—to walk as He walked, to do what He did, and even greater works, as He promised. Alleluia! This is the GOOD NEWS of Good Friday. Let us celebrate today by looking back with gratitude at what He has done for us, and looking forward with faith to partake in this great grace every day until HE Returns! God bless you, and God bless our nation! Shalom!

What is man that You take THOUGHT of him

Hello Friend, Good Morning! Today, I woke up a little earlier than usual, walked the dog, made a cup of tea, and as always, took my place at my study desk. What a beautiful day! How about you? How did your day begin? Feel free to share in the comments. Habits are formed through repetition. Research suggests that it can take anywhere between 21 to 66 days for a habit to become deeply ingrained in the mind and brain. Once established, these habits begin to function on “auto-pilot,” meaning they start to influence and even control us—whether for good or for bad.  Many people today struggle with habits and addictions, often feeling hopeless, not realizing that their HABITS were quietly being formed over time until they became their MASTER. But here’s the truth: you are not your habits—that is not your IDENTITY. The process that worked against you now can work for you. The same way habits are formed is the same way they can be overcome—by intentionally creating and replacing them with n...
