DISCIPLESHIP BYTES Can we learn to hear God's voice more clearly? Jesus, our Lord, is the perfect example. He did nothing on His own initiative, He only did the Father's will. (John 5). Whatever He saw the Father doing, only that He did. He heard the Father speak and spoke only what He heard. For most of us, this kind of experience is next to impossibility. But this is exactly the kind of relationship the Lord wants us to have with HIM. The problem is not on His side, but it is on our side, we have not developed a closeness with Him. (John 10, Heb 5). We would rather be close to people than to HIM. We would rather be religious than relational with HIM. We would rather prefer to attend gatherings multiple times in a day than spend time in His PRESENCE everyday seeking to KNOW Him. We would prefer prominence than His PRESENCE.
