Greetings, Disciple!

The temperatures seem to have dropped a bit after yesterday's sudden thundershowers.
How cool is that—to have such weather in the middle of a hot summer? It almost looks supernatural!

A disciple’s life is primarily a SUPERNATURAL LIFE; that is the default position. Today, GOD, our Heavenly FATHER, wants to remind us to RENEW OUR MINDS to this kind of living. Do not imitate the patterns of the world, who primarily live by their physical senses—by what they feel, touch, hear and see. We walk by faith. Our Lord gives us a tip in HIS Word on how to kick-start this kind of life.

How can we live a supernatural life?

We cannot do it on our own, with our “great” intelligence or our own strength. However, our Lord JESUS has promised the HOLY SPIRIT to those who ask Him.

This is what He said in Luke 11:13:

"If imperfect parents know how to lovingly take care of their children and give them what they need, how much more will the perfect heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit’s fullness when His children ask Him?"

Couple this verse with Mark 11:24:

"This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—be convinced that you have received it, and it will be yours."

When we open our mouths in prayer and believe that we receive whatever we ask Him, it will be done. Be confident, Disciple!

Have you really believed that you have received everything you asked for?

No worries—we can start today and practice Mark 11:24. Don't give up. We will see more answers than questions. This is the Supernatural Life.

Be anxious for nothing - FCRA or No FCRA

Hello Friend, Good Morning! How are you today? Have you been following the news? There is a lot of discussion among NGOs, many of whom seem anxious about what may be coming their way. Recently, I came across several news reports about the FCRA amendment bill, which has raised concern among many Christian NGOs. Some view it as a harsh or restrictive measure and feel targeted. At the same time, there could be valid reasons for the government to introduce such legislation. Can we deny that a small percentage of NGOs have failed to maintain financial integrity in running their institutions? In such cases, the violators should be held accountable and their licenses revoked. As the Bible says, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Some unscrupulous NGOs have brought disgrace to the name of Christ. Do our gatherings truly HELP us?

Do our gatherings truly HELP us grow?   I have noticed  that more and more gatherings  these days, looks more like a  “ Sunday entertainment" center, it  is HARMING than  HELPING God's people from  becoming  ROCK SOLID DISCIPLES . Our meetings should not be just a place for a lot of TALK, Emotional SINGING and Fun , however it should be a place where we are STRENGTHENED, EMPOWERED AS DISCIPLES  and SENT OUT  to be effective witnesses. When a gathering does not have DISCIPLESHIP as its CORE MISSION , then it has already moved away from the Biblical BLUE-PRINT of the Ekklesia .  If you find yourself in such a place, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? The next best thing I can think of is to earnestly pray and look out for a fellowship which has Discipleship as one of its CORE pillars . That's it for now.
