Awakening a New Yearning

Hello Disciple!

How are you doing? Are you fervent for God like the summer heat?
God desires for us to be on fire for Him. This fire is stirred when we wait in His presence every day. I trust you are taking time to SIT, SURRENDER, and BE TRANSFORMED daily.

I love what King David says in Psalm 27:4: “I have asked one thing from the Lord…”—not many things. As we read the entire verse, we discover what that 'one thing' was. He longed for God’s presence above everything else. He desired to behold Him daily and to know Him more deeply.

Dear Disciple, do we truly YEARN like that for the Lord—to be with Him, to behold Him, and to become like Him in His presence?

May we ask ourselves, “What am I truly yearning for?” and answer that question honestly.

Let the remainder of 2026 awaken a NEW YEARNING for HIM and HIS PRESENCE.

Be anxious for nothing - FCRA or No FCRA

Hello Friend, Good Morning! How are you today? Have you been following the news? There is a lot of discussion among NGOs, many of whom seem anxious about what may be coming their way. Recently, I came across several news reports about the FCRA amendment bill, which has raised concern among many Christian NGOs. Some view it as a harsh or restrictive measure and feel targeted. At the same time, there could be valid reasons for the government to introduce such legislation. Can we deny that a small percentage of NGOs have failed to maintain financial integrity in running their institutions? In such cases, the violators should be held accountable and their licenses revoked. As the Bible says, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Some unscrupulous NGOs have brought disgrace to the name of Christ. Do our gatherings truly HELP us?

Do our gatherings truly HELP us grow?   I have noticed  that more and more gatherings  these days, looks more like a  “ Sunday entertainment" center, it  is HARMING than  HELPING God's people from  becoming  ROCK SOLID DISCIPLES . Our meetings should not be just a place for a lot of TALK, Emotional SINGING and Fun , however it should be a place where we are STRENGTHENED, EMPOWERED AS DISCIPLES  and SENT OUT  to be effective witnesses. When a gathering does not have DISCIPLESHIP as its CORE MISSION , then it has already moved away from the Biblical BLUE-PRINT of the Ekklesia .  If you find yourself in such a place, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? The next best thing I can think of is to earnestly pray and look out for a fellowship which has Discipleship as one of its CORE pillars . That's it for now.
