Yield for Change

 Good morning, Disciple!

How marvelous to wake up to a brand-new day.
Before us lies opportunities, open doors, possibilities and untapped potential to discover. Yes, today we have the opportunity to GROW and be TRANSFORMED in our minds and become a little BETTER than yesterday. We have the opportunities to REST in HIM and WALK like JESUS walked.
Does not our heart long for more of this kind of LIFE?

What can STOP us from living an ABUNDANT LIFE?

An UNRENEWED MIND is the ROOT cause of the kind of FRUIT we are bearing now. Romans 12:2.
Is there any hope for us to CHANGE from bearing BAD FRUIT to GOOD FRUIT in our lives?

YES, and a resounding YES.
 
Many of God's people want INSTANT TRANSFORMATION, like instant coffee.
There is a FRUIT BEARING PROCESS. Like a branch that ABIDES on the Tree, we need to be rooted and committed to abide in GOD's method of TRANSFORMATION. This is the hard and committed journey we DISCIPLES have to take. 

How do we actually Change from fruitlessness to fruitfulness?
Romans 12:1-2 gives us the answer.

"So, brothers and sisters, since God has shown us great mercy, I beg you to offer your lives as a living sacrifice to him. Your offering must be only for God and pleasing to him, which is the spiritual way for you to worship. [2] Do not be shaped by this world; instead, be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect."

Let me put the above verse in my own words:

“So, brothers and sisters, since God has made us a NEW CREATION, let us now offer our soul and body to HIM so that the TRANSFORMATION process can take place in us DAILY. This is the least we can do. Let us bring our MINDS into ALIGNMENT with HIS—having the JESUS way of thinking, knowing, and doing HIS will for our lives.”

Now the question remains: it is not whether we can be TRANSFORMED, but whether we are willing to SUBMIT and SURRENDER our soul and body to HIM EVERYDAY.

His GRACE is sufficient to help us through this process, just YIELD for CHANGE.

Be anxious for nothing - FCRA or No FCRA

Hello Friend, Good Morning! How are you today? Have you been following the news? There is a lot of discussion among NGOs, many of whom seem anxious about what may be coming their way. Recently, I came across several news reports about the FCRA amendment bill, which has raised concern among many Christian NGOs. Some view it as a harsh or restrictive measure and feel targeted. At the same time, there could be valid reasons for the government to introduce such legislation. Can we deny that a small percentage of NGOs have failed to maintain financial integrity in running their institutions? In such cases, the violators should be held accountable and their licenses revoked. As the Bible says, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Some unscrupulous NGOs have brought disgrace to the name of Christ. Do our gatherings truly HELP us?

Do our gatherings truly HELP us grow?   I have noticed  that more and more gatherings  these days, looks more like a  “ Sunday entertainment" center, it  is HARMING than  HELPING God's people from  becoming  ROCK SOLID DISCIPLES . Our meetings should not be just a place for a lot of TALK, Emotional SINGING and Fun , however it should be a place where we are STRENGTHENED, EMPOWERED AS DISCIPLES  and SENT OUT  to be effective witnesses. When a gathering does not have DISCIPLESHIP as its CORE MISSION , then it has already moved away from the Biblical BLUE-PRINT of the Ekklesia .  If you find yourself in such a place, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? The next best thing I can think of is to earnestly pray and look out for a fellowship which has Discipleship as one of its CORE pillars . That's it for now.
