Exploring the WORLD within

Good Morning Friend,

Yesterday we were talking about the KINGDOM of GOD within us, and that God has made HIS HOME IN US . You can check the previous post by clicking the link above.

Today let’s delve a little deeper into the mechanics of this space within us what we call as our INNER MAN, SPIRIT or HEART. The Kingdom of God within us is not merely a metaphor but a living spiritual reality where we commune with God through the Holy Spirit and we can have access to. 

We can enter into this space at will and commune with our Lord and build our RELATIONSHIP with Him. Sadly, the modern Ekklesia have not been taught to access and enjoy the KINGDOM within us through our union with Christ. Jesus sharply rebuked the Pharisees because, through their religious traditions and hypocrisy, they kept people from entering into the living realities of God's Kingdom. 

The best way to start the journey of exploring the SACRED SPACE within us is to first ACKNOWLEDGE the TRUTH, that HIS KINGDOM is already within us and more real than the natural world around us.

Our lives have become so dominated by the natural realm that we often fail to perceive the weightier realities of God's Kingdom. Our spiritual senses have become dulled because of misuse and disuse, and it has reached to the point of atrophy. May we be eager and passionate for the eyes of our heart to be opened to not only see who we are in Christ, but to partake in the riches of HIS KINGDOM within us. 

We will look at some ways to sharpen our spiritual sensitivity in the future posts. Let me close with this TRUTH statement -

“So I counsel you...Purchase eye salve to be placed over your eyes so that you can truly see..”

Be anxious for nothing - FCRA or No FCRA

Hello Friend, Good Morning! How are you today? Have you been following the news? There is a lot of discussion among NGOs, many of whom seem anxious about what may be coming their way. Recently, I came across several news reports about the FCRA amendment bill, which has raised concern among many Christian NGOs. Some view it as a harsh or restrictive measure and feel targeted. At the same time, there could be valid reasons for the government to introduce such legislation. Can we deny that a small percentage of NGOs have failed to maintain financial integrity in running their institutions? In such cases, the violators should be held accountable and their licenses revoked. As the Bible says, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Some unscrupulous NGOs have brought disgrace to the name of Christ. Do our gatherings truly HELP us?

Do our gatherings truly HELP us grow?   I have noticed  that more and more gatherings  these days, looks more like a  “ Sunday entertainment" center, it  is HARMING than  HELPING God's people from  becoming  ROCK SOLID DISCIPLES . Our meetings should not be just a place for a lot of TALK, Emotional SINGING and Fun , however it should be a place where we are STRENGTHENED, EMPOWERED AS DISCIPLES  and SENT OUT  to be effective witnesses. When a gathering does not have DISCIPLESHIP as its CORE MISSION , then it has already moved away from the Biblical BLUE-PRINT of the Ekklesia .  If you find yourself in such a place, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? The next best thing I can think of is to earnestly pray and look out for a fellowship which has Discipleship as one of its CORE pillars . That's it for now.
