His Home in you
Hey, good morning, Disciple!
I hope you're doing well and growing stronger every day. Whatever you're facing, don't give up!
You may be wondering where I've been these past few days. Well, I took a short break, and now I'm back.
Recently, I've been reflecting on something Jesus said. He taught us not to search here or there for God and His Kingdom. Instead, He declared, "The Kingdom of God is within you."
What does that mean?
It means that through His death and resurrection, Jesus opened the way for all humanity to enter into a restored relationship with the Father. Through the indwelling Holy Spirit, the Kingdom of God now lives within us, enabling us to enjoy continual fellowship with our Creator.
God's ultimate goal was never merely to secure our place in heaven. His desire was to bring heaven itself into us, to dwell in the deepest part of our being and make us His living temple.
So, how do we experience this beautiful relationship with Him?
By entering through the Door into the secret chamber of our hearts, moment by moment, and learning to commune with Him. He is already there, gently knocking at the door, waiting for us to open our hearts and enjoy fellowship with Him.
Stop living with the mindset that heaven is up, far away and only a future destination. For those who belong to Christ, heaven has come into you and we can start living from that awareness everyday.
The King is within you. His Kingdom is within you. His presence is within you.
So today, don't search for Him somewhere far away.
Turn inward, quiet your heart, and meet with the One who has made His home in you.
Shalom!
