Hello Disciple!

Trust all is well with you and that you are getting better each day.

As I always say, DISCIPLESHIP is a SUPERNATURAL process. It is being TRANSFORMED and CONFORMED into the LIKENESS OF CHRIST every day as we live DAILY in INTIMATE COMMUNION with our SAVIOUR, LORD, and ELDER BROTHER.

Recently, in one of the IPL cricket matches, young Vaibhav Sooryavanshi of RR was asked how he was able to hit almost every ball for a SIX. His answer was superb.
This is what he said:

“I keep it simple: I watch the ball and play the ball, and do not focus on the bowler.”

This is what we have been focusing on in several of the previous posts. You become what you FOCUS on. If our focus is to become like YESHUA, then we are going to become exactly like HIM.

What are we actually FOCUSING on?

This is something we must answer honestly. There are many distractions out there trying to rob our attention from what is truly TRUE, PURPOSEFUL and ETERNAL. Our main goal is SONSHIP, not just being a BELIEVER in CHRIST. Let us keep our END GOAL always before us and walk the journey of DISCIPLESHIP daily.

SONSHIP is SIMPLE and not COMPLICATED and It is lived out in the real world as we go about our DAILY CHORES CONSCIOUS of HIS PRESENCE in us.

Be anxious for nothing - FCRA or No FCRA

Hello Friend, Good Morning! How are you today? Have you been following the news? There is a lot of discussion among NGOs, many of whom seem anxious about what may be coming their way. Recently, I came across several news reports about the FCRA amendment bill, which has raised concern among many Christian NGOs. Some view it as a harsh or restrictive measure and feel targeted. At the same time, there could be valid reasons for the government to introduce such legislation. Can we deny that a small percentage of NGOs have failed to maintain financial integrity in running their institutions? In such cases, the violators should be held accountable and their licenses revoked. As the Bible says, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Some unscrupulous NGOs have brought disgrace to the name of Christ. Do our gatherings truly HELP us?

Do our gatherings truly HELP us grow?   I have noticed  that more and more gatherings  these days, looks more like a  “ Sunday entertainment" center, it  is HARMING than  HELPING God's people from  becoming  ROCK SOLID DISCIPLES . Our meetings should not be just a place for a lot of TALK, Emotional SINGING and Fun , however it should be a place where we are STRENGTHENED, EMPOWERED AS DISCIPLES  and SENT OUT  to be effective witnesses. When a gathering does not have DISCIPLESHIP as its CORE MISSION , then it has already moved away from the Biblical BLUE-PRINT of the Ekklesia .  If you find yourself in such a place, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? The next best thing I can think of is to earnestly pray and look out for a fellowship which has Discipleship as one of its CORE pillars . That's it for now.
