Good morning Disciple!

Trust all is well with your soul and that you are experiencing the overflow of GOD’s LOVE, JOY, and PEACE in your life. We are KINGDOM citizens, and creation is waiting for the sons and daughters of GOD to manifest HIS PRESENCE. Are we building ourselves for that?

When Jesus was traveling with HIS disciples in a boat, they encountered a sudden storm in the midst of the Sea of Galilee. Now, use a bit of your imagination to enjoy the drama that unfolded.

The disciples were running around, yelling at the top of their voices. Fear gripped them, and in their minds they could already see their pictures in the obituary column of the “Jerusalem Times.” Of course, it was all in their imagination!

If they had mobile phones, I’m sure they would have sent video or voice messages to their loved ones, bidding them farewell.

However, the scene shifts to what Jesus was doing at that very moment. Any guesses?

He was in DEEP REST in the midst of all the DRAMA and CONFUSION. The disciples frantically woke HIM up and told the LORD it was time to bid farewell to the world 😆 because they were about to drown.

JESUS did two things in the midst of the STORM. First, HE arose and REBUKED HIS disciples for their lack of faith. Then HE commanded the STORM to be STILL.

You see, the disciples were under training to become SONS and had to imitate our LORD and take responsibility. It looked like they had failed the test. However, later we see these same disciples impacting cities and nations by the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT.

How should we RESPOND to the “STORMS” we encounter in life?

IMITATE JESUS - JESUS said, “FOLLOW ME.”

Here are some action steps:

  1. * BE STILL in the midst of the “STORMS” that come your way. Don’t press the PANIC button.
  2. * Be assured that HE is in the “BOAT.” HE is in you.
  3. * Exercise your FAITH. SPEAK to your situation.
  4. * PRAY, COMMAND, and REBUKE. Show no mercy to the powers of darkness.
  5. * Thank HIM in advance for the DELIVERANCE and RESOLUTION HE has already provided.

PRACTICE these simple steps often and whenever the need arises, and I’m sure we will quickly move to a new level in our SPIRITUAL WALK AS SONS.

Be anxious for nothing - FCRA or No FCRA

Hello Friend, Good Morning! How are you today? Have you been following the news? There is a lot of discussion among NGOs, many of whom seem anxious about what may be coming their way. Recently, I came across several news reports about the FCRA amendment bill, which has raised concern among many Christian NGOs. Some view it as a harsh or restrictive measure and feel targeted. At the same time, there could be valid reasons for the government to introduce such legislation. Can we deny that a small percentage of NGOs have failed to maintain financial integrity in running their institutions? In such cases, the violators should be held accountable and their licenses revoked. As the Bible says, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Some unscrupulous NGOs have brought disgrace to the name of Christ. Do our gatherings truly HELP us?

Do our gatherings truly HELP us grow?   I have noticed  that more and more gatherings  these days, looks more like a  “ Sunday entertainment" center, it  is HARMING than  HELPING God's people from  becoming  ROCK SOLID DISCIPLES . Our meetings should not be just a place for a lot of TALK, Emotional SINGING and Fun , however it should be a place where we are STRENGTHENED, EMPOWERED AS DISCIPLES  and SENT OUT  to be effective witnesses. When a gathering does not have DISCIPLESHIP as its CORE MISSION , then it has already moved away from the Biblical BLUE-PRINT of the Ekklesia .  If you find yourself in such a place, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? The next best thing I can think of is to earnestly pray and look out for a fellowship which has Discipleship as one of its CORE pillars . That's it for now.
