Crabs or Kingdom Builders

Hello Saints!

The IPL is now in its final phase, and the four teams are competing intensely to emerge as champions.

One quality I noticed among these teams is the unity, cohesion, encouragement, and motivation they give one another, even when someone underperforms or makes mistakes. They continue to back each other, strengthen each other, and move forward together.

This is something the Ekklesia must correct within itself. Too often, we behave like crabs in a bucket, pulling one another down, dishonoring one another, and being overly critical of each other.

The Apostle Paul says it beautifully in Philippians 2:3–4:

“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.”

This is something we must intentionally practice in our gatherings, homes, ministries, and relationships. Honor, encouragement, and humility create an atmosphere where people can grow, heal, and flourish in Christ.

The Kingdom advances best when sons and daughters learn to celebrate and strengthen one another rather than compete with or dishonor each other.

Stay Blessed!
