A Better Mind - A Better Future

Hello Disciple!

Here we are on the first day of a new month—what a glorious opportunity we have over the next 30 days to grow better each day.

In May, be bold, let your story be told—your future is brighter than gold.

Beloved friend, your future is not defined by your past failures or mistakes or the situation you were born into or the wrong choices you have made. We are defined by the FUTURE that God has for us.
You can be all that God desires you to be. But it all begins by CHANGING YOUR THINKING.

Thoughts are powerful. Thoughts become real when we repeat them constantly in our minds. Many of us worry about so many things, and our worries can become our realities.

That’s why the Scriptures command us not to worry or be anxious about anything.
Do a “biopsy” of your mind—examine the thoughts you think repeatedly. Check to see whether they will help you or harm your future. Choose what you want.

Let me close this blog with a powerful Scripture from Proverbs 23:7a: “For as he thinks within himself, so is he.” Remember, our future is shaped by what we consistently think about deeply every day.

Let us BRACE ourselves for a GLORIOUS FUTURE and EMBRACE what God thinks about us. Make a deliberate choice to think only the thoughts that He approves.
Remember - A Better Mind, always leads us to a Better & a Brighter Future.

Be anxious for nothing - FCRA or No FCRA

Hello Friend, Good Morning! How are you today? Have you been following the news? There is a lot of discussion among NGOs, many of whom seem anxious about what may be coming their way. Recently, I came across several news reports about the FCRA amendment bill, which has raised concern among many Christian NGOs. Some view it as a harsh or restrictive measure and feel targeted. At the same time, there could be valid reasons for the government to introduce such legislation. Can we deny that a small percentage of NGOs have failed to maintain financial integrity in running their institutions? In such cases, the violators should be held accountable and their licenses revoked. As the Bible says, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Some unscrupulous NGOs have brought disgrace to the name of Christ. Do our gatherings truly HELP us?

Do our gatherings truly HELP us grow?   I have noticed  that more and more gatherings  these days, looks more like a  “ Sunday entertainment" center, it  is HARMING than  HELPING God's people from  becoming  ROCK SOLID DISCIPLES . Our meetings should not be just a place for a lot of TALK, Emotional SINGING and Fun , however it should be a place where we are STRENGTHENED, EMPOWERED AS DISCIPLES  and SENT OUT  to be effective witnesses. When a gathering does not have DISCIPLESHIP as its CORE MISSION , then it has already moved away from the Biblical BLUE-PRINT of the Ekklesia .  If you find yourself in such a place, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? The next best thing I can think of is to earnestly pray and look out for a fellowship which has Discipleship as one of its CORE pillars . That's it for now.
