Living the Resurrection

Hello Risen Ones!

This morning, I want to come straight to the point without much delay 😊

Let’s reflect briefly on the Resurrection of Christ Jesus.

The resurrection was not merely an event where Jesus rose from the dead on the third day and appeared to His disciples before ascending to the Father. It is a present and living reality—that JESUS is ALIVE and WITH us now. This truth is more powerful than anything the world can produce!

The same Jesus who ascended has now come to dwell within us in the Person of the Holy Spirit. His people were radically transformed, filled with resurrection power, and they went about doing the works of Jesus—being a blessing to many. The Book of Acts clearly shows the works of the Risen Christ continuing through His disciples.

So what does the Resurrection of Christ mean for you and me today as His disciples?

  1. It means His resurrected Spirit now dwells in us.
  2. It means we are called to be bold witnesses for Him.
  3. It means we are focused on our calling to turn the world right side up.
  4. It means we are empowered to love others through His resurrection power.
  5. It means we carry the responsibility as sons to do the works of Jesus—and even greater works—for the good of all.
  6. It means we are being transformed into His likeness.
  7. It means His resurrection is our resurrection too.
  8. It means death has lost its sting—for we have died in Him and now live in Him.
  9. It means we are like “little Christs on the loose”—as He is, so are we in this world.

Let us ponder on these truths beloved disciples, as we remember His death, celebrate His resurrection, and live in the reality of His indwelling presence within us.

The world will know that Jesus is alive—when they see us LIVING THE RESURRECTION.

Shalom!
