Break Free from the 'Treadmill-Life'

I am excited today because I am getting better every day and able to connect with you.

I am very proud of you-because I see in you a PERSON who wants to GET BETTER than yesterday :). And that's why you visit this blog to extract something that can help you.
It's really a blessing and joy to experience TRANSFORMATION.

Yesterday at a prayer gathering, we reflected on Jabez from 1 Chronicles 4. Though only two verses are written about him, they reveal a powerful turnaround principle in his life.

Don’t we all long and love for such a turnaround too? 

Many of us feel stuck, moving but going nowhere, like LIVING LIFE ON A TREADMILL. I know that feeling; I was stuck for many years not knowing how to GET OUT of the mess. But no matter what caused it, there is a way-out dear Friend. God's grace helped me to DISCOVER it, and you can too.

Jabez discovered a simple principle that changed everything in his life—something many might overlook and even dismiss it as too easy. While others complain or feel hopeless, Jabez did the right thing: he engaged with God and renewed his mind (Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 12:2). 

In his pain and limitations, he did one thing consistently—he prayed and got his mind off of his problems, to the problem solver. His thinking was soaked with GOD's thoughts, not his failures or about his sad situation.

Let’s redefine prayer: it is aligning our MIND and our MOUTH with God’s word.  When we deeply and consistently IMMERSE ourselves into HIS Word and PROMISES, corresponding actions FLOW because of the NEW PATTERNS of THINKING. Our actions will be noticeably in LINE with GOD'S ways. This leads to PROGRESS and ENLARGEMENT that enriches our relationships with others too. 

A RENEWED MIND not only brings CHANGES to our LIVES, but it will bring HOPE for OTHERS to CHANGE too—just as Jabez desired.

Challenges will come our way; we just cannot avoid them. But how we respond to them matters. We can remain stuck in anger and bitterness or use these opportunities to grow and move forward.

It’s our choice—GOD's WAY or our way, we must decide.

Our Turnaround can BEGIN TODAY. It's time to BREAK FREE FROM THE 'TREADMILL LIFE'.

Be anxious for nothing - FCRA or No FCRA

Hello Friend, Good Morning! How are you today? Have you been following the news? There is a lot of discussion among NGOs, many of whom seem anxious about what may be coming their way. Recently, I came across several news reports about the FCRA amendment bill, which has raised concern among many Christian NGOs. Some view it as a harsh or restrictive measure and feel targeted. At the same time, there could be valid reasons for the government to introduce such legislation. Can we deny that a small percentage of NGOs have failed to maintain financial integrity in running their institutions? In such cases, the violators should be held accountable and their licenses revoked. As the Bible says, “a little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Some unscrupulous NGOs have brought disgrace to the name of Christ. Do our gatherings truly HELP us?

Do our gatherings truly HELP us grow?   I have noticed  that more and more gatherings  these days, looks more like a  “ Sunday entertainment" center, it  is HARMING than  HELPING God's people from  becoming  ROCK SOLID DISCIPLES . Our meetings should not be just a place for a lot of TALK, Emotional SINGING and Fun , however it should be a place where we are STRENGTHENED, EMPOWERED AS DISCIPLES  and SENT OUT  to be effective witnesses. When a gathering does not have DISCIPLESHIP as its CORE MISSION , then it has already moved away from the Biblical BLUE-PRINT of the Ekklesia .  If you find yourself in such a place, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? The next best thing I can think of is to earnestly pray and look out for a fellowship which has Discipleship as one of its CORE pillars . That's it for now.
